 Dear customer, Have you ever wondered why it's so expensive to call mobiles? It's all down to Mobile Termination Rates (MTRs), charges made when you call someone on another network. We think MTRs (which can be as high as 4.7p per minute) are unfair so we're campaigning to get them reduced, saving our customers hundreds of millions of pounds a year. Help us Terminate the Rate Our campaign and petition to lower MTRs has proved a huge success so far. Thanks to your support Ofcom has recommended bringing them down to 0.5p per minute. But this decision is not yet final. Over the next few weeks, the big mobile operators will scrutinise this proposal and try and get it overturned. We need to do everything we can to persuade Ofcom to stick with its recommendation and implement it as soon as possible. Show your support To show your support, please send an email to Ofcom.
