Changes to your BT account.

Last year we froze monthly line rental and call prices to make sure the cost of staying in touch wouldn't change until 2013. We will be changing some prices from next January but after that we'll again freeze the cost of monthly line rental and all calls to UK* landlines until 2014.

The changes will take place on 5 January next year to some products and services. Line rental will go up by 85p a month and call rates will also go up. None of our phone or broadband prices will go up by more than 5.9 per cent, and more than half of our prices won't be going up at all. You'll find all the details here.

I can also promise you that your monthly line rental, calls to UK landlines, BT Infinity, BT Broadband and our Unlimited Anytime Plan will not change again until 2014 at the earliest.

Low-priced calls to mobiles from your home phone
The cost of calling UK mobiles from your home phone is staying the same for the second year in a row. So it's among the lowest compared to other big UK operators.

We've also introduced Unlimited Anytime Plan Plus, which includes unlimited UK* landline calls and 50 per cent off standard pence-per-minute rates to UK mobiles. The price is
£8 a month

No change to Line Rental Saver
Line Rental Saver will stay at the equivalent of £10.75 a month when you pay a year in advance, £53 a year lower

than standard line rental.

You'll need to pay any additional call charges monthly by Direct Debit and switch to e-billing for this service. Two calls must be made each month to avoid a monthly charge of £1.50 (increasing to £2.00 a month on 5 January 2013). Advance payment is non-refundable. Exclusions and conditions apply. Standard line rental is £14.60 a month (increasing to £15.45 on 5 January 2013) with Direct Debit.
