Important information about your Plusnet service
 
On 1st October 2013 we'll be making some changes to our home phone pricing and call charges, as well as updating our terms and conditions.1 These changes enable us to continue investing in our award-winning customer support.
 
Home Phone changes

The cost of our monthly line rental with inclusive Evening and Weekend calls is increasing to £14.99 a month. Alternatively, you can switch to our new monthly line rental, with inclusive Weekend calls, for £14.50 a month. Just click below.

Terms and conditions

We hope you're happy with the service you've been receiving from us, but if you do decide to leave, please be aware of the following changes being made:
 
We'll be increasing the notice period you need to give before leaving us from 10 days to 14 days. This means that if you are thinking of leaving, you'll need to let us know 14 days in advance of doing so. If you choose not to give this notice, please be aware that you might be subject to additional charges on your final bill.
 
We'll also be changing the cessation fee we charge if you decide to disconnect your contracted Plusnet broadband service without moving to another provider. This charge will increase from £25 to £30 - if you leave under these circumstances, you will see this charge as a one off cost of your final Plusnet bill.
 
 
What happens next?
 
If you've decided to stick with the same package, you don't need to do a thing. The changes will come into effect from 1st October 2013. You'll see the new charges on your first bill after this date.

1 If, as a result of the changes in this email, you decide to terminate your affected service(s), you may do so without incurring the Early Termination Charge(s) that may otherwise be payable. If you wish to exercise this right you must contact us within 10 days of receiving this notification. You will still be liable for service charges up to the date of termination.
 
2 UK means calls of up to an hour to 01, 02, 03, 0845 and 0870 numbers. Excludes calls to indirect access numbers and dial-up internet access services. Other exclusions apply.
 
Weekend call plan and inclusive calls

Line rental and Weekends product has a 14 day minimum term. If you are currently within the term of a contracted broadband service, by adding Plusnet Home Phone you will enter into a new contract for your broadband, phone and any additional call plans for the original term of your broadband only contract. Weekends product included calls are to UK landlines beginning with 01, 02, 03, 0845 and 0870. Weekends are at any time on Saturday and Sunday. All calls outside of inclusive minutes are subject to extra charge. Inclusive calls have a maximum free length of 60 minutes, hang up and redial to avoid standard charges. Calls to indirect access numbers and dial-up internet numbers are excluded. Payment by Direct Debit required. Terms and conditions apply.
