Set your ringtone. |
Personalize your Veer with a ringtone you love. Just open the Sounds & Ringtones app, and tap on the RINGTONE line to bring up a list of ringtones. Scroll through the list, or just start typing to search for a specific ringtone. To preview a ringtone, tap the play button on the right. When you find one you like, tap on its name to set it. A checkmark will briefly appear before returning to the main Sounds & Ringtones screen. Once you return to the main Sounds & Ringtones page, just
close the app. That’s it. |

Update your Facebook® status. |
With Just Type, updating your Facebook status is a cinch. Simply start typing in the Just Type area, and the menu of options appears. Under Quick actions, select the +More… option. Then select Update Facebook Status. Then let everyone know what you’re up to.2 |

Follow the conversation. |
With Veer, it’s easy to keep up with a conversation, because you see IM, texts, and pictures from one person in a single combined view.3 That means if you start chatting in Google Talk™, you can pick up the conversation later as a text message. So you only have to think about what to say—not where to say it. |

Add apps. |
Make your Veer more you by choosing from popular apps in the App Catalog. It gives you access to thousands of free and paid apps—from 3D games and entertainment to social networking apps and more.4 To access the App Catalog, simply tap the Launcher, then tap App Catalog. You can search for apps using the search field or by browsing the most popular titles. |
