Hitwise visits market share
Totaljobs.com demonstrates again that it’s the UK’s busiest commercial job site.
Hitwise reports that the site with the greatest share of visits in June was totaljobs - attracting 3.7% share of all the visits made by jobseekers. Behind us, the order was as follows - Reed at 3.5%, Jobsite at 3.0%, Monster at 2.8%.
The UK online jobseeker audience continues to be extremely buoyant, and totaljobs is taking full advantage. 1.8 million jobseekers visited the site in June, and between them they generated 1.1m applications: a record number, and 300K more applications than June 2007.
Totaljobs’ jobseekers come from all corners of the UK, and are helping to generate an average of over 7 applications for every job advertised; one every 2 seconds if you fancy doing the maths. That’s one great machine for connecting jobseekers and employers.
And totaljobs continues to be the only job site which ABCe-audits its traffic and applications every month maintaining its commitment to providing complete transparency and demonstrating consistent monthly traffic and application levels.
