We asked the market to share their views on the industry in last week's edition of CAO.
Bert van Leeuwen, DVB Bank's managing director of aviation research offers his take on funding the launch of a re-engined Airbus A320 NEO.
"While it is fairly obvious how (and when) the impact of the NEO will start to affect values of the older generation aircraft, it is more challenging to answer the question of whether NEO will get sufficient market mass to make it itself an asset suitable for asset-based finance," he writes.
Also, Chris Leeds, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, UFJ, who worked for the UK's ECGD for 12 years, the last five of these as director of aerospace, shares his views on export credit agency support in response to the recent thought-provoking submitted piece by Bertrand Grabowski of DVB.
We'd be happy to hear your comments about CAO. Please drop a line to the Editors Laura Mueller or Olivier Bonnassies. |
