Effects of advertising
Ad effectiveness study results
ICIS ran an advertising effectiveness study on the 19 October issue of ICIS Chemical Business, to see how readers perceived advertisements in the magazine. Fusion Communications, an independent market research agency, carried out the study for us.

The study highlights readers’ take on individual advertisements and provides clear recommendations on how to improve effectiveness. Other key findings revealed:
  • 57% of respondents discussed an ad with someone else in their company

  • 49% referred an ad to a colleague

  • 46% of respondents visited advertisers’ website as a result of seeing their ad in ICIS Chemical Business.
