Santander, Allied Irish and the Royal Bank of Scotland were among the banks to provide debt for the purchase back in 2007. Part of this debt is set to expire this year, although the owners are in talks to extend it. Strong overseas appetite and the resurgence of values are believed to be behind the possible sale.
